Safe and Sober Campaign 2012
In an effort to discourage Drinking & Driving this Holiday Season,Power 96 did a LIVE Controlled Demonstration with two employees ON-AIR to show how quickly you can reach the .08 Legal Driving Limit.the Ramifications of a DWI, or Worse Yet Injury or Even Death! MONDAY NOV 19th from 2pm-5pm. VOLUNTEER TEST SUBJECTS were Monitored as they Drink Alcoholic Beverages ON-AIR. LAW ENFORCEMENT was On-Site with a Portable Breath Tester & Testing throughout the 3 hrs, and Discussing the DWI Process. Roe Naylor of ACME Bail Bonds talked about how their services come into play. PROBATION OFFICER\'S Shared the Ramifications of a DWI. INSURANCE AGENT Troy Thompson of Troy Thompson Agency talked about what Happens to Your Vehicle Insurance when You Get a DWI and more.. Beverages were Compliments of LIQUOR DEPOT, Free Rides for Test Subjects Compliments of ALBERT LEA TAXI, Refreshments provided by PERKINS OF ALBERT LEA, and Food For Test Subjects by GREEN MILL. the media tour for the new school in Austin.This is the exterior of Holton Intermediate School.Holton Intermediate School will be for all 5th and 6th graders in Austin and
